Samuel ''Sambo'' Keltner, 78 Samuel "Sambo" Keltner, 78, 503 Coburg Lane, Columbia, KY (the Coburg Community in Adair County), passed away Friday, June 4, 2004, at 3:45 p.m., at the Westlake Regional Hospital in Columbia, KY, after several months illness. The funeral service will be Monday, June 7, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., Central Time at Stotts-Phelp-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY. He was the son of the late Ervin and Cora Whitlock Keltner of Adair County. He is survived by his wife, Ethelean Denson Keltner, Columbia, KY, and by the following:
Mr. Keltner was a member of the Cane Valley Baptist Church, a retired farmer, and a member of the Green River Feeder Calf Association. Visitation will be after 3:00 p.m., Central Time, on Sunday, June 6, at Sotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY. Interment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, Columbia, KY. Stotts-Phelps McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
