Gail Ann Murphy, 56, Adair County, KY (1963-2020) Gail Ann Murphy, 56, of Columbia, died Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at T. J. Samson Hospital in Glasgow. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 2pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Helm officiating. Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery. Visitation is after 10amCT Saturday. The Healthy at Work Guidelines issued by the State will be followed. She was born August 12, 1963, in Adair County and preceded in death by her father, David Eugene "Big Boy" Burris, her mother, Cora Lillian McQueary Shepherd, her Adoptive Parents, Jess & Lucille Richards and a sister, Stella Grider. Survivors include: Her husband - Clurel "Doc" Murphy of Columbia One son - Edwin "Tommy" Richards of Columbia Two daughters - Amanda (Randall) Sneed & Linda Ann (Jeremy) Grider all of Columbia Three brothers - Dewayne Shepherd of Oldham County, Doug Barrett of Cynthiana and James Burris of Columbia Three sisters - Norvelia "Kaye" Barrett of Columbia, Faye Shepherd of Bardstown, Georgie Manning of Arizona Three grandchildren - Andrew & Natalie Sneed, Harley Grider Several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. www.grissommartin.com This story was posted on 2020-06-25 20:35:17
