Letter: Butterfly ID Marcus Pierce writes: I'm not the brightest bub in the pack but the butterfly pictured looks like a Painted Lady butterfly.Marcus, thanks for writing. We though so, too, at first, and the two can be very similar, but the eyespot on the forewing clinched it for us as a Hackberry Emperor.
