Samuel Wayne Thurman, 63, Campbellsville, KY (1963-2020)

Samuel Wayne Thurman of Campbellsville passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020. He was 63 years old.

Cremation was chosen by the family, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at parrottramsey.com.



Samuel Wayne Thurman of Campbellsville, son of Lyla Wayne Thurman and the late Joe Thurman, was born September 18, 1963 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 5:00 A.M., Sunday, May 17, 2020 in Campbellsville.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pitman Valley Baptist Church.

He was a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, the Colts and Cubs and enjoyed watching Nascar.

He is survived by his mother, Lyla Wayne Thurman of Campbellsville; aunts and uncles: Tom "Buggy" Wayne and wife, Betty of Campbellsville; John Thurman of Harrodsburg and Ginger Palmer of Apex, North Carolina; several cousins and many other relatives and friends.

The family has requested donations to Pitman Valley Baptist Church. These may be made through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
