ACHS 2020 Seniors were the stars of Tuesday parade Families and friends lined the parade route to honor the Adair County High School Class of 2020. First responders and officials lead the parade through town. The route began at ACHS and went to Greensburg Street, to the Public Square, Jamestown Street to Tutt Street, to Burkesville Street, then to Highway 61 and back to the high school. Seniors were the stars of the parade. In an otherwise rainy week, the sun shone brightly on the event so that everyone could get the best view of their favorite graduates. This event is part of a week of activities to honor the senior class which was unable to have their traditional activities because of the COVID-19 pandemic and closures that resulted. Smiles on the faces of students and their fans showed that everyone made the very best of a hard situation. An album of parade pictures are being linked to this article.
