Ruby Chapman, 82

The funeral service for Ruby Chapman, 82, Campbellsville, KY, formerly of Columbia, KY, will be Thursday, April 1, 2004, at 1:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Conover, Rev. Brent Gupton, and Rev. Gene Hall officiating.

Mrs. Chapman died Monday, March 29, 2004, at 11:35 p.m., at Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville, KY.

She was a daughter of the late Owen and Tina blakey Absher and a member of Bearwallow United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Chapman; by two sons, Billy Joe and Clifford Levi Chapman; and by a brother, A.F. Absher.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Barbara and Harold Mills, Campbellsville
  • One sister, Eula Moss, Columbia
  • Five grandsons: Tim, Jeff, and Terry Mills, and Preston and Joe Chapman
  • And 12 great grandchildren
Burial will be in Beulah Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m.. Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Grissom Funeral Home.
