Green County men fight over video game

One airlifted to Louisville hospital with a severe head injury, one arrested and charged with felony assault and wanton endangerment.

Green County Sheriff Robbie Beard reports that his department received a call of a fight in progress Monday night near the Taylor/Green County line on Taylor Chapel Road just inside Green County.

Sheriff Beard told 99.9 The Big Dawg News that it was learned that the two men were fighting over a video game when things took a turn for the worse.



Micheal Withrow, age 21, of Greensburg, struck Dalton Smothers with his automobile. Smothers was airlifted to a Louisville hospital with a severe head injury.

Withrow was arrested and charged with felony assault and wanton endangerment and lodged in the Taylor County Jail.

The Condition of Smothers is unknown, the case is expected to be presented to the Commonwealth Attorney Office in Campbellsville.
