Zan Morrison, 88

Zan Morrison, 88, 181 Royal Oaks Road, Columbia, KY, formerly of Glensfork, KY, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2004, at 9:30 a.m., at the Russell County Hospital in Russell Springs, KY.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, Feburary 17, 2004, at 2004, at 3:00 p.m., at the Grant Cemetery in Glensfork, KY, with Rev. Jack Davis officiating. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.


He was the son of the late Felix and Alta Grant Morrison of Adair County.

He is survived by the following:
  • His family: Benny and Patsy Grant of Greensburg, KY; Sue and Joe Kawalik of Tinley Park, Illinois.
  • A special friend and caretaker: Miranda Cooper Young and her son Jarred McClister, Columbia
  • And several cousins: Glnda and Lawrence Carrol of Glensfork, KY; Cindy and Jimmy Wolfrod, Russell Springs, KY; and by Joan Bennett of Russell Springs, KY.
  • Mr. Morrison was a retired saw mill worker.

    Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.
