Mary Lee Hood, 77 Mary Lee Hood, 77, 601 Tutt Street, Columbia, KY, passed away suddenly Friday, January 30, 2004, at 9:22 a.m., at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Columbia, KY. The funeral service will be Sunday, February 1, 2004, at 1:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueray Funeral Home with Bro. Terry White officiating. Mrs. Hood was the daughter of the late Don Carlos and Alice Williams Willis of Adair County, KY. She was a member of the Columbia Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for 45 years. She was office manager and bookkeeper of Adair Memorial Hospital and Westlake hospital and Westlake Home Health from 1981 until her retirement. She was also a substitute teacher in the Adair County School system. She is survived by her husband, James Hood, Columbia, KY, and the following:
The family requests visitation after 4:00 p.m., Saturday, January 31, 2004, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in Columbia, KY. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Building Fund of the Columbia Christian Church. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
