Joseph Luckett, 89, Campbellsville, KY (1931-2020) Joseph Luckett of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020. He was 89 years old. All services will be held privately, with burial to follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be left at parrottramsey.com. Joseph Luckett of Campbellsville, son of the late Ed Luckett and Myrtle Raley Luckett, was born March 10, 1931 in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 9:31A.M., Monday, April 20, 2020 in Campbellsville. Age: 89 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Joe was a retired supervisor with Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Thelma Maupin September 1, 1956 and she preceded him in death March 12, 1997. He dearly loved Thelma and was a good husband and father. Joe enjoyed golfing and was an avid reader. He is survived by one son and one daughter: Joe Luckett, Jr. and wife, Cassy of Louisville and Kaye Breeding and husband, Ernie of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Sara Parke of Campbellsville, Austin Luckett and wife, Lauren of Mt. Washington and Sidney Blanford of Louisville; five great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital or St. Mark United Methodist Church and may be through Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
