Eula Elizabeth Dangerfield Wright, 90, Green County, KY

Eula Elizabeth Dangerfield Wright of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her home. She was 90 years, one month, and 15 days of age.

There will be private funeral services with burial in the Greensburg Cemetery. Bro. Steve James, Bro. Blake Jessie, Bro. Todd Young, and Bro. Brad Davis officiating.

While still abiding by the State mandates, the family has chosen drive-by viewing to be conducted behind the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 between 1:30 and 2:30pmCT. Everyone must remain in their vehicles while passing and paying their respects to the Wright family. Honorary Mention Pallbearers: Randy Sprowles, Jimmy Buckner, Charles Buckner, Michael Carroll, Ronnie Blakeman, Robert McKinney, Doug and Jane Sapp, Darrell and Marcy Goff. Ladies Sunday School Class, and V.F.W. Auxiliary.



She was the daughter of the late George Robert Suddles Dangerfield and Mary Alice McFelia Dangerfield, was born on Friday, February 28, 1930 in Green County. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Greensburg Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, and the Sunday School Class Treasurer. She was a retired Machine Operator for Fruit of the Loom, Inc. after 35 1/2 years of service. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and a member of the Women's Missionary Union (W.M.U).

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Leslie Wright on March 2, 2012 having united in marriage on March 26, 1949.

Survivors include a daughter: Alice Lynn Wright Curry of Greensburg; two granddaughters: Erika Sprowles and her husband, Randy, and Allison Simpson all of Campbellsville; a great-granddaughter: Ava Kate Sprowles of Campbellsville; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Wright was also preceded in death by four sisters and a brother: Marie Buckner, Opal Vance, Catherine Holt, Helen McKinney, and Roy "Ike" Dangerfield.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the American Cancer Society, which can be made through the funeral home.
