Chaplain named for Columbia City Police Columbia Mayor Pamela Hoots and Columbia City Police Chief Jason Cross announce that a chaplain has been named for the Columbia City Police. Godfrey Jackson of Columbia, who has recently entered a call to ministry, will be serving the City of Columbia in the chaplain capacity. "We appreciate the service of Jackson in volunteering for this position," said Mayor Hoots. "This is timely considering what is currently occurring in reference to the pandemic."
