Coronavirus Q&A: What can each of us do?

What can each of us do to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus locally? Answer below is from the Health Department public meeting Wednesday, March 25, 2020:

Q: What needs to be done to reach the best case scenario?
- Social distancing,
- Cover your cough,
- Don’t go to work if you’re sick,
- Don’t touch your face,
- No gatherings of any sort, including church services. People are infectious 2 days before symptoms are apparent.

The LCDHD (Lake Cumberland District Health Department), serving Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, McCreary, Pulaski, Russell, Taylor, Wayne County Health Centers. Phone 800-722-5725.

There are nine cases of the Coronavirus in the district - five in Pulaski, one in McCreary and three in Wayne County. Contact tracing is being done.
