Update on NTI Packets By Phyllis Curry March 25, 2020 Adair County students, parents and guardians, Thank you so much for the cooperation you have shown during these extraordinary times as we do school and education a whole lot differently. We understand some of your challenges, but you are being great partners. In order to meet the deadlines given to the district by the Kentucky Department of Education and to submit documentation of your child's work, we are beginning the collection of the work for the first 14 days of non-traditional instruction (March 16-April 3). Paper copies of work currently in the possession of all Adair County students will be due April 7, 2020. Completed packets may be given to a person delivering food, beginning Thursday, March 26 or be dropped off at the receptacle located outside the central office at 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728. This receptacle will be available Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:30 March 26-April 7, 2020. Please return work in the original packets so your child will get credit for their work. Please do not take packets directly to schools and do not leave packets in the rack after 3:30pmCT on the designated days. The receptacle is not available on weekends. Some students who take vocational classes had additional work delivered Wednesday, March 25, 2020. That work is also due no later than 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2020. The last date work can be given to a bus driver or staff member riding a bus will be Wednesday, April 1, 2020. All others will need to use the mailbox at 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY 42728. Following spring break (week of April 6-10), you will be able to pick up new packets of work at your child's school for the week of April 20-24. This story was posted on 2020-03-25 15:37:17
