T-shirt fundraiser honors retired trooper David Bunch

By Samantha Sinclair

Retired Kentucky State Trooper K-9 unit David Bunch has been hospitalized at UK Healthcare for over a month following three pin strokes and a severe infection located behind his spine. He still has a long road of recovery ahead of him with hopes that he will soon be transferred to an acute rehab facility to help restore his strength.

In his honor, a t-shirt fundraiser has been set up to support him in this battle. At the family's request, all money raised from this t-shirt sale will go to help underprivileged children participate in the Kentucky State Police annual Shop with a Trooper program. T-shirts are $18. If you do not want a t-shirt but would still like to make a donation in David's honor to Shop with a Trooper, you may do that as well. To order please call 270-847-6570.
