Letter: Clarification on hours

Diane writes:
After reading this article at 04:30AM, I deduced the start of this notice was today. Arriving at the Columbia Walmart at 06:05AM, the faithful Walmart sentinel was turning 60+ individuals away. After reassuring her we were following the notice we read in the ColumbiaMagazine she let a couple of us in. Later, I showed her the article which clearly she had not seen before. Apparently the Walmart employees were of the understanding the new elderly hours of shopping would not take place until Tuesday, March 24, 2020. Perhaps clarification by Mr. Sam Scarborough is in order, for all of us. --Diane
Diane, the fault is ours for not clarifying the date the change would take effect. I've updated the article with the start date. We appreciate your patience, and the patience of the hardworking folks at WalMart. --Pen
