Bank of Columbia offers longer drive-thru and more By Andrea Waggener The Bank of Columbia takes the health of our community very seriously. To reduce the risk of exposure and limit the spread of COVID-19 to our Adair County families we are making adjustments to our hours of operations. Effective Saturday, March 21, 2020 Bank of Columbia will be offering customers banking by appointment for loans, access to safe deposit boxes, CD renewal and opening accounts. The lobbies at the Main and Branch locations are not closed, just restricted. Customers can call 270-384-6433 or 2579 to make an appointment with a loan officer. Businesses may call ahead for larger deposits to allow the drive thru lanes to move more quickly. Customers who need to purchase cashier's checks may call ahead or call us from the parking lot and we will allow access to the lobby when we have them ready. Bank of Columbia like to remind customers that deposits and loan payments can also be made at our ATM and in our Night Deposit box, which will be checked frequently throughout the day. Our drive-thru hours Saturday will be extended. Both the Drive-Thru location, 124 N. Reed Street, and Jamestown St. branch will be open from 8:30am - 3pm. Our Monday-Friday drive-thru window hours will be open from 8:30am-5pm. During this time, the Bank of Columbia will continue to provide complete banking services to our community while observing social distancing recommendations. We encourage everyone to listen to reputable news sources, follow guidelines and be kind to one another. Bank of Columbia reminds customers that if you're stuck at home (binge watching a new favorite show) you can still manage your accounts with our digital banking tools. With online banking, the Bank of Columbia Mobile App, Remote Deposit Capture and Bill Pay, you can do it all from the couch! If you aren't already enrolled in any of these programs, call us today at 270-384-6433. Customers can sign up over the phone! This story was posted on 2020-03-17 13:37:32
