Sophia Alline Loy, 85 Sophia Alline Loy, 85, formerly of the Sparksville Community, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2003, at 8:04 p.m., at Westlake Regional Hospital, Columbia, KY. The funeral service is Sunday, November 23, 2003, at 1:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Darrell Landis officiating. Mrs. Loy was a Methodist. She was co-owner of Loy's Ashland at Sparksville for 24 years. She was the daughter of the late George Dewey and Dellar Stotts Murphy. She was married to S.N. Cooper, who preceded her in death in January, 1953. She later married James E. "Yank" Loy, who preceded her in death on December 9, 1990. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Cooper and Gary Cooper, and an infant daughter, Juanita Loy. She is survived by the following:
