Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Thu 20 Feb 2020

Indictments brought against 7 individuals from Columbia and Greensburg, KY on charges including possession, wanton endangerment, assault, DUI, trafficking, and receiving stolen property.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Thursday, 20 February 2020:


  • Vincent J. Bach, Lee St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00037. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree, police officer. Count 2 - Fleeing or evading police, 1st degree, on foot. Bail set at $10,000 cash.

  • David B. Runyon, Bridgeport Dr., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00038. Charged with 4 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 2 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 4 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Bail set at $2,500 cash/prop.

  • Rebecca J. Thrower, Bridgeport Dr., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00039. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 2 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 3 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 4 - Wanton endangerment, 1st degree. Count 5 - Assault, 4th degree. Bail set at $5,000 cash.

  • Jonathon T. Coomer, Wagon Wheel Lane, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00040. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., .08, 4th+ offense, aggravating circumstance. Count 2 - Leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance. Count 3 - Operating on a suspended/revoked operators license. Bail set at $5,000 c/p.

  • Terry Ray Simpson, Huntington Way, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00041. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, $500 or more but less than $10,000.

  • Wendell N. Reynolds, Jr., N. McCullum Ave., Greensburg, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00042. Charged with 5 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 3rd+ offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Possession of marijuana. Count 4 - Operating on a suspended/revoked operators license. Count 5 - No tail lamps. Bail set at $1,500 w/MCR.

  • Austin Tyler Mitchell, Knifley Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00043. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Trafficking in marijuana, 8oz-5lbs, 1st offense, firearms enhanced. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Count 3 - Possession of marijuana.
