Adair School Calendar approved for planning 2020-2021

For long-range planning, the 2020-2021 Adair County Public Schools Calendar was given final approval at the February School Board meeting.

July 1 through August 4, KECSAC summer days

August 5, 2020 opening day for staff to begin the first semester of the 2020-2021 school year

August 6, 2020 opening day for students

September 7, 2020 no school - Labor Day holiday

October 5-9, 2020 no school - fall break

November 3 Election Day

November 25- 27 2020 no school - Thanksgiving break

December 21, 2020 through January 1, 2021 no school - Christmas break

January 18, 2021 no school - Dr. Martin Luther King Junior holiday

February 15, 2021 no school - Presidents' Day

April 5-9, 2021 spring break

May 17, 2021 last day of school for the 2020-2021 school year

May 18, 2021 Adair county public school staff closing day

May 18-28 2021KECSAC summer days

210 instructional days - as required by KECSAC

176 regular days, 34 KECSAC days, for professional development days, four holidays, one opening day, one closing day. Total - 220 contract days.
