Adair Co. Grand Jury returns indictments Tue 11 Feb 2020

Indictments brought against 11 individuals from Columbia, Gradyville, Campbellsville, Summersville, and Russell Springs, KY on charges including possession, false statements, promoting contraband, theft, DUI, forgery, and receiving stolen property.

NOTE: Indictments are considered formal charges. An indictment is not a finding of guilt. An individual charged by indictment is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.

The Adair County, KY Circuit Court grand jury, Columbia, KY, returned indictments against the following individuals on Tuesday, 11 February 2020:


  • Sarah J. Scott (a/k/a Sarah J. Mann, a/k/a Sarah J. Pence), Marshall St., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00025. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 3rd+ offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Public Intoxication.

  • Charles Vincent Goldstein, Weed Keltner Road, Gradyville, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00026. Charged wit 3 counts. Count 1 - Possession of controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of marijuana. Count 3 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $1,500 cash w/MCR.

  • Delaina Elaine Russell, Heavenly Lane, Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00027. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - False statement/misrepresentation to receive benefits, over $100. Bail set at $2,500 surety.

  • James E. Adcock, E. First St., Campbellsville, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00028. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition, $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Bail set at $2,500 cash.

  • Richard A. Bernard, Allen Schoolhouse Rd., Columbia ,KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00029. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Promoting contraband, 1st degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Possession of marijuana. Bail set at $2,500 cash/SP.

  • Jamie L. Keith, Weed Sparksville Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00030. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Theft by unlawful taking/disposition, $500 or more but under $10,000. Count 2 - Theft by failure to make required disposition of property, $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail set at $2,500 cash/SP.

  • Gordon Willis Feese, Feese Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00031. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs/etc., .08, 4th+ offense. Count 2 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, methamphetamine. Count 3 - Rear license not illuminated. Bail: NBS.

  • Norman R. Warren, Taylors Chapel Rd., Summersville, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00032. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $1,500 cash w/MCR.

  • Gordon Willis Feese, Feese Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00033. Charged with 2 counts. Count 1 - Possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 2nd offense, methamphetamine. Count 2 - Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: NBS.

  • Wyatt T. Long, Corbins Bend Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00034. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, firearm.

  • Margaret R. Zimmerman, Weed Sparksville Rd., Columbia, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00035. Charged with 1 count. Count 1 - Receiving stolen property, firearm. Bail set at $1,500 surety.

  • Karen Jolene Mann (a/k/a Karen Jolene Mann Denney), Half Acre Road, Russell Springs, KY Indictment No. 20-CR-00036. Charged with 3 counts. Count 1 - Criminal possession of a forged instrument, 2nd degree. Count 2 - Persistent felony offender, 1st degree. Count 3 - Knowingly exploit adult, over $300. Bail set at $1,500 cash/SP.
