KSP: Search of Liberty residence leads to arrest By Tpr. Nick Hale Liberty, KY - On February 8, 2020 at approximately 10:08amET, Trooper Jake Harper responded to a residence on Strong Branch Road in Liberty, KY, in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arriving Tpr. Harper made contact with 52 year old Joseph Lynn of Liberty. Lynn appeared to be under the influence and stated his mother was inside the residence disposing of methamphetamine. Tpr. Harper spoke with the home owner, Wanda Henson, who consented to a search of the residence. Tpr. Harper located several clear plastic bags with suspected methamphetamine inside of them. Lynn was arrested for public intoxication-control substance and possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine); he was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
