LWC Golf spring 2020 schedules released By Brady Budke Lindsey Wilson golf head coach Eric Wyrick has announced the schedules for the upcoming men and women's 2020 spring season. Both the men and women have six events on the slate. The men's squad begins their spring season on Feb. 24-25 in Mobile, Alabama to compete in the Mobile Ram Invite at Robert Trent Jones Magnolia Grove Golf Course. The women's squad begins their spring season on March 2-3 in Gulf Shores, Ala. to compete in the Georgetown Gulf Shores Invitational at the Peninsula Golf Club. The two squads return to play together for their next four events, beginning on March 9-10 with the Point Skyhawk Invitational at the Callaway Gardens Golf Club in Pine Mountain, Georgia. Next, the two squads will head to Opelika, Ala. on March 12-13 to compete in the Spring Break Invitational at the Robert Trent Jones Grand National Golf Club. The Blue Raiders return home to Columbia on March 23-24, in the Blue Raider Spring Classic at The Pines at Lindsey Wilson. Both squads conclude play together on April 6-7, at the Phoenix Invitational at the Pine Creek Golf Course in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Lindsey Wilson is then off to the Mid-South Conference Championship at the Bowling Green Country Club in Bowling Green, Ky. The women's squad tees up on April 20-22 while the men play on April 27-29. The 26th annual Women's Golf National Championship is slated for May 12-15 at Lincoln Park Golf Course in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The 69th annual Men's Golf NAIA National Championship is scheduled for May 19-22 at Las Sendas Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. This story was posted on 2020-01-17 11:10:22
