Turner named MSC Women's Basketball Player of the Week By Christopher Coombs Reagan Turner has been selected as the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday. Turner averaged 25 points while shooting 55.8 percent (24-of-43) from the field, including shooting for 60 percent from beyond the three-point arc. She opened the week with 23 points in the win over Cumberland (Tenn.) followed by a 30 point season-high showing in the upset against No. 7-ranked Shawnee State (Ohio). The junior guard from Gamaliel, Kentucky closed out the week on Saturday with 22 points, five rebounds and six assists in the win over RV Pikeville. This is the third weekly honor of her career.
