Steve 'Butch' Jewell, 70, Green County, KY (1949-2020)

Steve 'Butch' Jewell, son of the late H.T. and Dorothy Jean Huffman Hiser, was born February 21, 1949 in Hart County, KY and passed away January 11, 2020. He had attained the age of seventy years, ten months and twenty days.

Funeral Services will be held at, Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 10amCT Wednesday, January 15, 2020. Visitation 4-8pm Tuesday and after 7am Wednesday. Ministers will be Bro. Blake Durrett, Rev. Robert Morris and Bro. Ricky Arnett. Burial will follow in the Green County Memory Gardens in Summersville.

Pallbearers will be: Ryan Jewell, Don Lowe, Christopher Lowe, Austin Lowe, Tim Darnell, Nelson Bishop and Barry Jewell. Honorary Pallbearers: Kloe and Tanner Jewell, Laura Leigh Lowe and Ashley Patterson.



He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Grove Separate Baptist Church of the Nolyn Association. He worked at Clark Casual, Fruit-of-the-Loom and retired from Campbellsville Industries in 2016. He owned and operated Jewell's Lawn Service. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Jewell, and one sister, Gail Denton. He loved his family and friends deeply and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Willow Dean Jewell, one daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Don Lowe; and one son and daughter-in-law, Ryan and Kristy Jewell; all of Greensburg.

Four grandchildren - Christopher Lowe and his finace' Ashley Patterson of Greensburg, Austin Lowe and his wife Laura Leigh of Bowling Green, Kloe and Tanner Jewell of Greensburg..

Two brothers - William Jewell and his wife Betty and Ira Hiser and his wife Martha, all of Monroe; and one sister - Oma Ann Riordan and her husband Billy of Horse Cave; brother-in-law - Winford Simpson and his wife Glenda; sisters-in-law - Shirley Blackwood and her husband Lee, Elaine Bishop, Mitzi Heath and her husband Rendell and Elaine Simpson, plus a host of other relatives and friends.
