Lana Jo Russell Kessler, Green County, KY (1952-2020) Lana Jo Russell Kessler of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Thursday, January 9, 2020. She was 67 years, seven months, and three days of age. Graveside services will be conducted at 3:30pmCT Sunday, January 12, 2020 at the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Cliffton Sullivan officiating. Pallbearers: Matt Kessler, Keith Estes, Cade Kessler, Cole Kessler, Cale Kessler, Jace Estes, and Reece Estes. She was the daughter of the late Truman Russell and Virginia Gadberry Russell Read, born on Friday, June 6, 1952 in Campbellsville. She had made a profession of faith in Christ, was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, and was a homemaker. Survived by her husband of 51 years, Jackie Lee Kessler of Greensburg, having united in marriage on August 24, 1968. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Carrie and Keith Estes of Greensburg; a son and daughter-in-law: Matt and Amy Kessler of Greensburg; five grandchildren: Cade Kessler, Jace Estes, Cole Kessler, Reece Estes, and Cale Kessler all of Greensburg; two brothers and two sisters: George Russell of Lexington, Linda Russell of California, Patti Reynolds, and Richard Russell both of Taylor County; and a host of other relatives and friends. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Youth Program, which can be made at the funeral home.
