Campbellsville Fire-Rescue dispatched to North Columbia Ave By Chris Taylor, Chief, Campbellsville Fire-Rescue Campbellsville Fire Rescue was dispatched to a report of a residential structure fire at 808 North Columbia Avenue Friday, January 10, 2020. Upon arrival we found moderate smoke coming from the roof of the residence and fire in the attic area above the kitchen. Firefighters entered the structure and extinguished the fire, searched for victims and provided salvage and overhaul to residence. There was moderate damage contained to the kitchen. Cause of the fire is believed to be related to electrical. There were no was injuries reported. 20 Firefighters were on scene, 5 Apparatus on the scene (Chief, Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3 and Truck 1). Assisting Agencies: CPD, CTCEMS, CTCECC, KY, ATMOS, American Red Cross. This story was posted on 2020-01-11 06:23:47
