Louvenia Rodgers Bryant, 80, Columbia, KY (1939-2019) Louvenia Bryant of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. She was 80 years old. Funeral services will be held at 10amCT on Friday, January 3, 2020, at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Dale Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the Tarters Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT at the funeral home. Born July 1, 1939 in Adair County, she was the daughter of the late George Otis and Eva Mae Franklin Rodgers. Mrs. Bryant was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and a former employee of Summit Manor Nursing Home and Westlake Home Health. She loved quilting and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband William Purd Bryant of Columbia; three children Ron Bryant (Debbie), Gary Bryant (Linda Douglas) and Deborah Byrant (Steve Gadberry) all of Columbia; 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter Alesha Ann Morrison; three sisters Flossie Beard, Nona Burton and Fannie Franklin and two brothers Clifton and L. C. Rodgers. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Garry Bryant, Justin Bryant, Tyler Bryant, Shane Bryant, Elliot Morrison and Will Morrison. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
