Richard Dudgeon, 71, Campbellsville, KY (1948-2019) Richard Dudgeon of Campbellsville passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2019. He was 71 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, at Calvary Baptist Church in Campbellsville, 200 Coakley St., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Steve Wagers. Burial will follow in Phillips Cemetery, with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, and after 9amET on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church. Richard Dudgeon of Campbellsville, son of the late Dudley Dudgeon and Beulah Brown Wethington, was born July 3, 1948 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:47 A.M., Wednesday, December 25, 2019 in Campbellsville. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served his country honorably in the United States Army. Richard was a retired shipping employee with Parker Kalon in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Lindy Blevins October 28, 1972. Besides his wife, Lindy Dudgeon of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter, Jana Dudgeon of Campbellsville; three sisters: Allison Goodin of Greensburg, Jo Ellen Lemmon and husband, Ronnie and Nancy Rogers and husband, Robert of Campbellsville; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Paula Foster and husband, Larry, Marcie Close and husband, Mike, Annette Hord and husband, Terry and Jimmy Blevins of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Richard was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Jean Richerson. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at parrottramsey.com.
