ACSO: Adair Co. man arrested following auto collision By Sheriff Josh Brockman Adair County Sheriff's Office On Saturday, December 14, 2019, Adair County Sheriff's Deputy Chandler Staten responded to a dispatch of a single-vehicle auto collision with injury 7 miles north of Columbia on KY 551. Upon arrival and contact with operator, Deputy Staten observed an odor of alcoholic beverages. The operator refused any medical attention from EMS personnel, and after a roadside test, was placed under arrest. Arrested and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail was Aaron Hobaugh, 30, of Columbia. He was charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle Under the Influence of Alcohol Aggravated Circumstances.
