ACSO: Information sought after robbery

Adair County Sheriff's Office

The Adair County Sheriff's Office is investigating an armed robbery that occurred this morning at 7775 Campbellsville Road.

At 08:14amCT, an unknown white male, approximately 5ft 7 - 5ft 9 inches, around 250 lbs, entered the Dollar General Store located at the Adair /Taylor line. He produced a black handgun and demanded money from the employee.

The suspect left the business with approximately $150 in cash, and got in a gray SUV, believed to be a Chevrolet Equinox, around a 2012 model, with a female who was waiting. The vehicle then sped toward Taylor County.

The sheriffs office is currently working with the Kentucy State Police and Taylor County authorities on the investigation. If anyone has any information, please contact the Adair County Sheriff's Office at 270-384-2776 or your nearest law enforcement agency.
