Volunteers needed, AC Fair work starts this weekend Anthony Brockman said the Adair County Fair Association hopes to have volunteer help to begin the work of clearing the new location for the Fair on Saturday and Sunday now that everyone has enjoyed Thanksgiving day. They will be renting heavy equipment and clearing spaces for Adair County Fair 2020 activities. He said some of the trees will be left, especially some older oak trees where picnic tables will be placed, keeping some of the charm of the former location. To volunteer or get more information, contact Anthony at 270-634-4446. Click here to read the story of the land donation when the Bank of Columbia Board of Trustees donated 10.23 acres located on the southeast side of Industrial Park Road to the Adair County Fair Association for the new Fairgrounds.
