KSP: Two charged in relation to Tompkinsville burglary

Tomkinsville, KY - On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at approximately 6pmCT, Trooper Jonathan Paull was responding to a burglary complaint in the city limits of Tompkinsville on Napier Street when he received information that there was a male subject on Patterson Street trying to sell a firearm that matched the description of one of the items stolen from the residence.

As Tpr. Paull arrived on Patterson Street, he observed the suspect, 23 year old Johnathan Coe, flee on foot. As Tpr. Paull pursued Coe he observed him discard a pistol just prior to surrendering. The pistol was stolen from the residence on Napier St.



A small amount of suspected methamphetamine was also located on Coe who was charged with receiving stolen property U/$10,000, carrying a concealed deadly weapon, fleeing or evading police 2nd degree, (on foot), and possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine).

By joining efforts with Tompkinsville Police Department, later that evening KSP also charged 24 year old Dillon Turner of Fountain Run, KY with Burglary 1st degree (complicity).

Both parties were lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.
