Letter: Parking at polling places

Personal Commentary by Voter on Hwy 80
Author's name on file, withheld by request

I'm thankful for the Election Poll Workers having their positions as part of the entire voting process. But I must point out that at my voting location every prime parking space was being used by the workers.

In order to better serve the voting public, which include the disabled, elderly and people attempting to rush to work, I'm requesting that the workers park elsewhere. Parking spaces are in short supply at my poll location. This is no different than asking that store clerks not park at the prime parking spots at a store. It's simple common business sense.

Please include this as part of the instructions given to all the poll workers. I don't want to get blocked in or cause someone else to become blocked in. --Signed, Voter on Hwy 80
