LWC Volleyball hosts Georgetown in home finale By Grace Blomstedt The No. 10-ranked Lindsey Wilson volleyball team hosts Georgetown (KY) in its home finale on Monday, November 4 at 6:30pmCT in Biggers Sports Center, 360 Spickard Drive, Columbia, KY. The Blue Raiders (24-5, 12-2) return action after sweeping Mid-South Conference opponent Campbellsville (KY) on the road on October 29. Lindsey Wilson posted a .267 hitting percentage while limiting Campbellsville to .031. Lindsey Wilson tallied 21 more digs and 10 more kills than the Tigers over the course of the match. Four LWC players recorded double-digit digs, led by Lauren Larzelere with 18. Kasia Niderla and Alexis Smith marked double-digit kills with 15 and 11, respectively. Camryn Rich accumulated 27 assists. The Blue Raiders continue to lead the Mid-South Conference while ranking 16th in the NAIA in hitting percentage with .234. Niderla still leads the NAIA in hitting percentage (.419) and ranks 11th in kills per set. Georgetown (18-10, 7-4 MSC) is back in action after falling to Cumberland (Tenn.) in three-sets on October 29. On the season, the offense has a .210 hitting percentage and features five main attack options, recording between 185 to 230 kills, led by Sarah Snyder. Brianna Cathers paces the offense with 783 assists. Samantha Lincoln leads Georgetown with 5.2 digs per set, which sits fourth-best in the conference. Georgetown leads the MSC in blocks per set with 2.3. The Blue Raiders and the Tigers met earlier in the season on October 1. Georgetown handed Lindsey Wilson its second conference loss of the season.
