Karen Ann Milby Jeffries, 51, Greensburg, KY (1968-2019)

Mrs. Karen Ann Milby Jeffries of Greensburg passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019. She was 51 years old.

The funeral services for Karen Ann Milby Jeffries will be conducted at NoonCT on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery. Bro. Greg Whitlow, Bro. Cliffton Sullivan, and Bro. James Thurman Jeffries will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT on Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT on Tuesday until time of the funeral service.


Mrs. Karen Ann Milby Jeffries of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of Nancy Sue Vance Milby of Summersville and the late Alfred Milby, was born on Tuesday, June 18, 1968 in Kewanee, Illinois and departed this life on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Baptist Health Hospital in Louisville. She was 51 years, four months, and eight days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was also a Nutritional Aide for the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.

Survived by her husband of 24 years, James Gregory "Greg" Jeffries of Greensburg having united in marriage on December 5, 1994.

Other survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law: Brittany Dewitt Rice and Chris Rice of Green County, and Alexis Jeffries of Greensburg; a son: Eli Jeffries of Greensburg; three grandchildren: Lily Ann Rice, Ellie Mae Rice, and Nolan Anthony Rice all of Green County; a sister: Linda Milby of Greensburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law: James Thurman "Thurmey" and Sandy Jeffries of Greensburg; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rick and Cindy Penick of Summersville, Carol and Marty Elmore, and Terry Jeffries all of Greensburg; niece and nephews: Megan Chase, Kyle Chase both of Summersville, and Corey Milby of Campbellsville; two special friends: Dana Milby Rogers of Greensburg, and Charlette Whitlow Cobb of Bardstown; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Karen was also preceded in death by a brother: Joe Wayne "Torch" Milby on July 28, 2016.

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethlehem Baptist Church or the Wilson Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
