Third Annual Payne Thanksgiving Dinner to be held 16 November

The third annual Payne Thanksgiving Dinner in honor of Reverend Joe Payne will be held at 11amCT on Saturday, November 16, 2019, at the Wheet Fellowship Hall of the Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, 1200 Jamestown St., Columbia, KY.

Reverend Payne passed away in 2016. He was pastor of the Eunice Church of God in Adair County and, a U.S. Army veteran. He was very active in the community and was the founder of the Agape House, a pregnancy resource center located in Columbia.

He was a member of the Adair County Drug Court and a board member of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District. He had served as a member of the Adair County School Board and was a board member of the Homeplace on Green River.

The dinner is for the community and is open to the public. It will be potluck and you can bring a dish. Music will be provided. For further information, please contact Sharon Payne or Reverend Billy Payne.
