Bloomington Chapel BIC is winning SquareCrow 2019 By Ellen Zornes, Executive Director, Columbia Adair County Chamber of Commerce On behalf of the Columbia-Adair Chamber of Commerce, we wish to congratulate the Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Teens for winning the SquareCrow People's Choice Award. Other SquareCrow awards will be announced later. We appreciate all our SquareCrows and hope everyone has the chance to see and enjoy them around the square and a block or two off the square in all directions. The Chamber's next event is Treats on the Town, Halloween night. We would also like to thank the Columbia Renaissance Committee for another great Downtown Days Festival success and the City of Columbia and Cayce Davenport for her welcoming downtown mural. I so enjoyed the event and it was so heartening to see our retail businesses with lights on and lots of shoppers Friday with our 'To the Nines' Second Friday Local Shopping Event. Columbia truly is a great place to call home! This story was posted on 2019-10-14 08:10:21
