Excited about all the downtown updates By Cayce Davenport Downtown Days was a huge success! Thank you to the intensely passionate Renaissance Committee and their commitment to pulling off another fun filled year. While set up on Campbellsville Street, it was wonderful seeing such a positive reaction from our community to the new addition of Downtown. After all day watching others get their picture in front of the mural, some of which I was happy to take for complete strangers or friends, I realized that I had yet to do so. I finally got to pose with my youngest son. Thank you to Mayor Hoots and City Council for trusting me with such a project! I'm excited about all the Downtown updates and am humbled to have been a part of them. I hope this mural is the first of others to come. We have a strong presence of extremely talented artists from all ends of the spectrum in Adair County. There's loads more where that come from, you only need ask. Thank you!
