Gary Greer, 63, Liberty, KY (1956-2019) Gary Lee "Booner" Greer of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky. He was 63 years of age. Funeral services are scheduled for 11amET on Saturday, October 12, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Brother Kenny Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5pmET until 7pmET on Friday, October 11, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Born on March 2, 1956, in Casey County, Kentucky, He was a son of Merial Jean Sanders Greer and the late Edwin Alton Greer. Gary was a former gate welder and sawmill worker. He was of the Baptist faith. Gary loved his animals, especially his cats and enjoyed keeping his home clean and neat. Survivors include one son, Todd Richards of Liberty; one grandson, Josh; two brothers, Jimmy (Lovanda Isaacs) Greer of Liberty, and Ricky (Patricia) Greer of Hopkinsville; three sisters, Sherry (Al) Clements of Pleasant Plain, Ohio; Francis Eskew of San Diego, California, and Lela Greer of Liberty. In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Greer.
