LC Soccer opens conference play at Georgetown tonight By Brady Budke The No. 7-ranked Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team and the No. 8-ranked men's soccer team returns to action tonight to take on Georgetown (KY) beginning at 5pmCT with the women's matchup, followed by the men's match at 7:30pmCT in Georgetown. The Blue Raiders women's soccer team (4-2-1) returns to the field after a 4-3 defeat at the hands of No. 9-ranked Martin Methodist (TN) on September 21st. Lindsey Wilson has seven players who have scored at least one goal this season, while five have recorded at least one assist. Sina Cavelti has a team-best five goals this season, while also being tied with Thea Birgerud for the team lead in assists with three. Goalkeeper Eveljn Frigotto has 42 saves on the season, which sits third best in the Mid-South Conference. The Georgetown women's soccer team (4-5-0) returns to action after being defeated by No. 9-ranked Martin Methodist 5-3 on September 22nd. The Tigers have 11 players this season who have scored at least one goal, while 13 have also recorded at least one assist. Libby Miller leads Georgetown with eight goals this season, which sits tied for first in the Mid-South Conference.
