Rosella Reeves, 80, Green Co., KY native (1939-2019)

Rosella Reeves passed away on September 4, 2019 at her residence in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 80 years old.

A graveside service will be held at the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, 2511 Coakley Road, Greensburg, KY, beginning at NoonCT on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.



Rosella Reeves of Louisville, Kentucky, a native of Green County, daughter of the late Harry Reeves and Beatrice Scott Reeves, was born on June 10, 1939 in Green County, Kentucky and departed this life on September 4, 2019 at her residence in Louisville, Kentucky. She was 80 years, two months and 25 days of age.

Rosella was a lifelong teacher with Jefferson County Public Schools and retired from the Norton Elementary School.

She is survived by her sister: Joan Reeves McClarty; a nephew: David W. McClarty; two nieces: Kyle M. Penn and Susan M. Johnson; seven great nieces and nephews and host of other relatives and friends.

Memorials are suggested to be made to the Norton Elementary School, which can be made at the funeral home.
