By Grace Blomstedt

No. 17-ranked Lindsey Wilson men's soccer hosts No. 10-ranked Spring Arbor (Mich.) in their home debut at 7pmCT on Saturday at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Holloway Drive, Columbia, KY.

The Blue Raiders (0-1) are back in action after a 2-0 loss to NCAA DII West Florida this past Saturday. The Argonauts claimed a 12-9 shot advantage which allowed them to claim a goal in each-half. Lindsey Wilson claimed an advantage with shots on goal, recording five compared to West Florida's four.

LWC had four players record at least one shot on goal. Rainer De Jesus led the offensive attack with two shots, both on goal. Defensively, Alex Sanchez recorded two saves while allowing the two goals.

The Cougars (3-0-1) travel to Columbia after a 5-0 victory against Cornerstone (Mich.) at home on Tuesday. Spring Arbor is averaging 3.25 goals per game this season and will put pressure on the Blue Raider defense on Saturday. SAU's impressive offense is led by junior Cole Russell who recorded a hat trick in their last match.

This is the second match-up between the Blue Raiders and the Cougars. They previously met in Lindsey Wilson's season-opener in the 2013 season. Spring Arbor upset then third-ranked Lindsey Wilson at home 2-1.
