Martha Hadley, 88 Rev. Jim Goff officiated at funeral services for Martha Hadley, 88, held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2003, at Free Union Separate Church, with Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Hadley died Sunday, April 6, 2003, at 8:50 a.m. at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. She was the daughter of the late Charles William and JoAnn Sullivan Bryant and the widow of Walter Hadley, who preceded her in death on January 25, 2002. Mrs. Hadley is survived by three sons, Wendell Hadley and his wife Brenda, Winston Hadley and his wife Judy, and Kermit Hadley and his wife Barbara, all of Columbia; four daughters, Geraldine Baldwin and her husband Richard of Columbia, Willodean Gurnow and her husband Jim of Shepherdsville, KY, and Connie Smith and her husband Colby of Milltown; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 step-great grandchildren; and two sister-in-laws, Betty Hadley, Columbia, and Ruby Coomer, Indiana, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sons, Terry Hadley and Ronnie Hadley, and by three sisters, Pearl Rooks, Ruthie Rooks, and Rettie McGaha. Mrs. Hadley was a member of the Free Union Separate Baptist Church and a homemaker. Interment was in the Free Union Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ricky Collins, Darrell Hudson, Dale Hudson, Jamie Hadley, Scotty Hadley, Eric Hadley and Mark Hadley.
