CPD: Veterans Bypass Injury Collision at Greensburg Street By Officer Adam Cravens The Columbia Police department responded to an injury collision on the evening of Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the intersection of Greensburg Road and the Veterans Bypass. The accident occurred when Larry Humphrey, 57, of Russell Springs was operating a 2004 Honda Odyssey on Greensburg Road northbound when he failed to stop at the bypass intersection. Humphrey's vehicle came into the direction of travel of a 2013 Chevy Sonic operated by Audreanna Alley, 30, of Columbia. A female passenger in the Honda Odyssey was ejected from the vehicle and transported by ambulance to TJ Samson Columbia before later being taken to University of Kentucky. Other parties were later treated and released. Sergeant Jr Murphy was the investigating Officer. This story was posted on 2019-09-05 05:28:03
