Phillip Johnson of Louisville, KY, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2019. He was 76 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Phillip Johnson of Louisville, son of the late Verlin Johnson and Aggie Wilcher Johnson, was born May 7, 1943 in Floyd County, Kentucky. He died at 2:20 A.M., Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Louisville.

Phillip worked in the railroad industry for many years as a welder, painter and general handyman.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting or anything having to do with the woods.

He united in marriage to Bonnie Wilcher May 16, 1964.

Besides his wife, Bonnie Wilcher Johnson of Louisville, he is survived by one son, Wayne Johnson of Louisville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
