KSP: Green Co. man charged with unlawful imprisonment

Green Co., KY - On Tuesday, August 20th, 2019, at approximately 12pmCT, Kentucky State Police Post 15 received a call reporting 34 year old Nathan Wells was holding his 46 year old wife, Lisa Wells, hostage at their residence in the Hardyville area of Green County.

When Troopers arrived to the scene, several attempts to make contact were made before the couple exited the residence.


Nathan Wells was arrested without incident and charged with six counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, assault 4th degree (minor injury), terroristic threatening 3rd degree, and unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree.

Wells was lodged in the Taylor County Detention Center. This incident remains under investigation by Trooper Marvin Blakey.


NOTE: An arrest is not a finding of guilt. An individual placed under arrest is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at some later criminal proceeding.
