Marie Bradshaw Vance Young, 70, Greensburg, KY (1949-2019) Mrs. Marie Bradshaw Vance Young passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019. She was 70 years old. The funeral services for Mrs. Marie Bradshaw Vance Young will be conducted at 10amCT on Monday, August 19, 2019, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S. Main St., Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the New Salem Cemetery. Bro. Brad Davis and Bro. Blake Durrett will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 3pmCT until 8pmCT on Sunday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, and after 7amCT on Monday until time of the funeral service. Mrs. Marie Bradshaw Vance Young of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late William Bradshaw and Pauline Creason Bradshaw, was born on Saturday, May 7, 1949 in Green County and departed this life on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville. She was 70 years, three months, and nine days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. She was also retired from Campbellsville Apparel as a machine operator. She united in marriage to Billy Joe Vance August 8, 1970 who preceded her in death on June 21, 1990. She later united in marriage to Ronnie Young of Greensburg who survives. Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Martha and Joe Soto of Greensburg; three step-daughters: Sherrie Estes, Cindy Thompson, and Christy Bonta all of Greensburg; five grandchildren: J.T. Soto and his wife, Katie, Matthew Soto, Christopher Soto, Lucas Soto, Abby Soto all of Greensburg; two great-grandchildren: Tyler Soto, and Connor Soto both of Greensburg; five step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; a sister: Mattie Bradshaw of Greensburg; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorials are suggested to the New Salem Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Garnett Bradshaw, J.T. Soto, Jonathan Bradshaw, Matthew Soto, Sammy Bonta, Christopher Soto, Lucas Soto Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at cowherdandparrott.com.
