Evaline May Long of Russell Springs died Saturday, August 10, 2019 at the Russell County Hospital. She was 59 years old.

A graveside service for Evaline May Long will be held at 10amCT on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with Bro. Preston Richardson officiating.


She was born May 18, 1960 in Tipton, Indiana to the late Walter and Esther Vanvickle.

She was a homemaker.

In addtion to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clovis Long; daughter, Peggy Davis; brother, Charles Vanvickle

Survivors include:
  • 5 children: John Dale Vanvickle, Utah, Jimmy Vanvickle, Florida, May Fran Justice, Florida, Faith Starr, Russell Springs, and James Long, Russell Springs
  • 8 grandchildren
  • 1 brother: Everett Vanvickle Florida
  • 1 sister: Betty Vanvickle, Tennessee
