Phillip Joyce Sallee Hubble, 76, Liberty, KY (1943-2019) Phillip Joyce (Lawhorn) Sallee Hubble, of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2019, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky. She was 76 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 1pmET on Monday, August 12, 2019, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville St, Liberty, KY, with Brother Greg Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Trace Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10amET until 1pmET on Monday, August 12, 2019, at the funeral home. Born on July 9, 1943, in Danville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Edgar and Mary Ethel Bowmer Lawhorn. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Calvary Community Church. She was a former owner and storekeeper of Sallee's Grocery. Joyce loved Bluegrass Music and going to music festivals. She also enjoyed fishing. Survivors include one son, Edgar (Kristi Downs) Sallee of Liberty; and three grandchildren, Janson Sallee, Kaitlyn Sallee, and Tiffany Sallee. In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley Ray Sallee, who passed away on May 12, 1979.
